The day started a little after 8. The bathroom was time-shared till we had
all done our business and gotten dressed for the day. We then headed up for
breakfast in the Windjammer. It was rather appropriate that we ended up at the
same table we had lunch on embarkation day.
Afterwards we wandered out to the clothing sale on tables beside the H2OZone.
David and Francesca picked up 2 t-shirts each. We then joined Caitlin in the
Photo gallery on deck 3 where we sorted the rest of our photos and decided on
what to keep. Family should be happy when they get their copies.
We went back to the cabin where we started the packing process. This was an
all day task around the other little things we did. None of us bought much but
it adds up when packing. And it didn't help that we all bought more junk since
the best sales are the last day.
While Francesca, David and CJ were at the morning bingo session Caitlin
wandered the ship including hitting the pools. After we all arrived back in the
cabin it was back to sorting stuff for packing. We then headed to lunch in the
Windjammer. CJ went to AO for the afternoon session.
And for the rest of us it was back to packing till our future cruise
consultation. All four of us are booked into the same cabin on this very same
ship on a western Caribbean run in November of next year.
And then came the afternoon session of bingo. And it was a week of no wins
for Francesca.. ah well, maybe next time! The winner of the snowball walked away
with nearly 6K dollars.
After bingo it was back to packing and deciding what was needed for the next
day so the rest could be packed. Francesca left first to find a good spot on the
promenade for the circus parade. David, Caitlin and CJ followed a few minutes
later after giving Gregory his tip envelope.
Immediately following the parade we went to dinner. It was a bit sad to know
it was our last night and we'd be cooking our meals the next day. CJ had a rough
afternoon at AO and his mood wasn't improving so David and CJ left before
dessert. Francesca and Caitlin had dessert, watched the wait staff do their
farewell song, offered up tip envelopes and said our farewells. We did bring
dessert back for David though.
Our packing was all virtually done, our customs forms filled out along with
the cruise survey. The bags went out to the hall not to be seen again till after
we are through Customs in the port. Caitlin wandered out for a few but decided
to make an early night of it. So the adults read for a bit while CJ worked
himself to sleep. It was going to be a relatively early morning for us all so it
was probably just as well.
